Directory Submission

Having your website listed in quality web directories is perhaps one of the most valuable things you can do for it in regards to inbound links.  Directories like DMOZ and Yahoo! hold significant weight.  Google draws its directory results from Open Directory Project (DMOZ) and the Yahoo! Directory draws its directory results from, well, Yahoo.  These links are given a lot of weight.  There are well over 100 of these web directories available to get listed in.
